Thai Real Estate Wins 4 Prestigious Awards at the 19th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final
PropertyGuru Group, a leading real estate technology company in Southeast Asia, hosted the gala dinner and award ceremony for the 19th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, presented by V-ZUG Thailand. The event welcomed over 130 finalists from across Asia, honoring more than 60 awards for outstanding real estate developers and projects in the region at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

The longest-running awards in the Asian real estate industry presented over 60 prestigious awards to property developers across 13 Asian markets, competing for excellence in various categories such as real estate projects, construction, architecture, and design. Thailand secured 4 awards, with Sansiri Public Company Limited winning the Best Ultra Luxury Housing / Landed Development (Asia) for the Bukan Pathum Thani project and the Best Luxury Housing / Landed Development (Asia) for the Narasiri Phaholyothin-Watcharapol project. Meanwhile, AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited received the Best Mid End Housing / Landed Development (Asia) for The City Rama 5 - Nakhon In project, and Apac Land Co., Ltd. won the Best Office Architectural Design for the APAC Tower project.

This year, Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. won the Best Developer in Asia award for the first time, marking one of five awards for the company from China. Additionally, projects from the Philippines showcased outstanding performance by winning 12 regional awards, making it the country with the most awards. Malaysia also excelled, winning 11 regional awards, while Singapore and Indonesia achieved 8 regional awards each, followed by Australia with 7 awards.
Furthermore, Oud Real-Estate Development Company from Saudi Arabia won the Best Mixed Use Developer (Asia) award, marking its first win after the inaugural PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Middle East) held this year. Projects from Hong Kong, Macau, and Vietnam also won 4 regional awards each, followed by Japan with 2 awards. Cambodia and India’s Suryam Developers LLP each received 1 regional award. Additionally, Mr. Henry T. Sy, Jr., Advisory Board Member and Chairman of the Executive Committee of SM Prime Holdings, received the Icon Award 2024 from the editorial team of Property Report by PropertyGuru, the official magazine of the awards ceremony.
Regional winners were selected by an independent panel of judges, including the head judges from the participating markets, with HLB from the HLB International Real Estate Group serving as the official judging process overseer under the leadership of Mr. Paul Ashburn.
